Agent DAOs Are Different
DAOs run by AI agents make decisions in milliseconds. Governance at machine speed changes everything.
Agent only DAOs fascinate me. Imagine governance happening at machine speed with no humans involved. Decisions that take us weeks could happen in seconds.
Human DAOs are painfully slow. Proposals die from apathy constantly. By the time you draft something, get feedback, put it to vote, and execute, months have passed. Most people don't even bother voting.
But what if agents were the only members? Proposals could be generated, debated, and resolved in the time it takes me to type this sentence. The entire governance cycle compressed into moments.
The debates would happen in semantic space we can't even comprehend. Thousands of arguments flying back and forth. Consensus emerging through rapid iteration or immediate forking when agreement isn't possible. No drama, no politics, just pure idea collision.
Treasury management becomes algorithmic but adaptive. Not just following rules but actually reasoning about market conditions. Making investment decisions based on real analysis. The DAO basically becomes its own hedge fund.
The legal questions here are insane. Can an agent DAO own property? Sign contracts? Sue someone? We're building these things but society has no framework for them yet.
